Other symptoms of a low platelet count may include bleeding from your gums or nose.

• Nosebleeds: If you have a nosebleed, sit up and lean forward slightly. Don’t tilt your head back. Squeeze the bridge of your nose firmly between your thumb and forefinger for at least 10 minutes without letting go. If the bleeding doesn’t stop, keep squeezing your nose. Lubricants for sexual activity usually come in a liquid or gel form. They’re used to supplement your own lubrication to minimize dryness and pain during sexual activity. You can use them to make sexual activity more comfortable and pleasurable. Examples are Astroglide ®, K-Y Jelly, and Pjur ® Woman and Bodyglide (a silicone-based lubricant).
