We are two couples who spent 2 weeks at this beautiful house. The panoramic views can’t possibly be captured in photos, the sunsets in particular were amazing. Never got tired of hearing the waves lapping at the shore. The house itself was way more space than we really needed, and the two story windows looking out to the sea made it feel even larger. The house was very well kept and clean. The master bedroom is it’s own sanctuary, and while the upstairs second bedroom was smaller, it made up for it with it’s private deck and views. We were professionally greeted and made to feel welcome as soon as we landed, and Alexis did a great job in coordinating our car rental and transportation to and from the airport. She and her staff were easily available during the stay if we needed them for questions. The location on the island was perfect, very close to town and all the restaurants, but yet far enough that it was peaceful and felt remote. Would definitely recommend taking advantage of Alexis’ offer of a private chef, both Chef Danny and Chef Roy did a great job, and those were some of the best meals we had all vacation. Like everywhere else on Bonaire, the entry to the water in front of the house is rocky, so water shoes are required, but the snorkeling out front was great. It was really nice to have a private beach area in front for relaxing at the end of the day. For diving, Alexis recommended VIP Diving, and they were a top notch shore diving operation, very safe, fun, and professional. Would definitely dive with them again. This was our first trip to Bonaire, but thanks to this amazing experience, we will be back!!

Your dream vacation home is located near many beautiful dive sites and some of Bonaire’s must see locations. ‘The Lake’ dive site is directly behind the house and easily accessible from your private beach. Just walk on in! You can enjoy a night of snorkeling or diving a few days after the full moon for Bonaire’s Ostracod (bioluminescence) in your ‘backyard’. And during migration season, regularly around 8am and 6pm you will see families of dolphins swim by, putting on a wonderful show. Not only will you enjoy the immediate access to the sea, Bonaire’s Salina (salt mountains) is right down the street. Caribbean Christmas card idea? Be sure to stop by and take a few photos of our island’s winter wonderland.

If you continue south down the road, you will soon reach the white and red slave huts, another piece of Bonaire history minutes away. You will also come across Kite Beach (dive site ‘Atlantis’) where you can watch kiters from around the world surf or take a lesson on kite surfing from our very own beach boys. And if you’re hungry, you’ll have to try Cactus Blue’s infamous ‘Lion Fish Burger’.
