Stunning luxury beach front sub penthouse. … – homeaway electricity definition

This apartment was inaugurated in late 2012. My condo has great views to the beach, since it is an upper floor. The apartment building, Maxim Tower, has a luxury boutique hotel feel. Our floor is right under the Penthouse and has awesome views of Isla Verde Beach. The building is literally steps from the Beach, approximately 30 yards from the entrance of the building to the nicest part of Isla Verde Beach, steps from the chic San Juan Water Club Hotel, and from El San Juan Resort and Casino. The intimate luxurious ambiance at Maxim will make you fall in love with this exclusive property of only 27 apartments. Enjoy the magnificent beach sunsets in our common facility rooftop terrace’s infinity jacuzzi, or just from the balcony of the apartment while you enjoy a cocktail.

The apartment is a very spacious 2,000 square feet. The room set up includes: the master bedroom, with a king bed, and a reading area with comfortable reading chair, and a desk with chair and mirror; the second bedroom has a full bed and two twin beds (one is a trundle), and the third bedroom has a full beds and another twin bed…. All bedrooms have black outs for your sleeping enjoyment. Mattresses were specially selected and are very comfortable. The third bedroom has south east facing balcony with mountain/lagoon/airport views. On a clear day you can see El Yunque Rain Forest mountain from this balcony. This bedroom has a full size bed, twin bed and, plus a desk and chair and TV. The living area includes a large balcony which faces beautiful Isla Verde Beach, and a large kitchen with granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. There is a separate laundry room. There is cable and internet wifi, 4 LCD flat panel large TV’s, and three DVD players. There is a covered, assigned parking with beeper access. There is a power generator that covers all common areas and all apartments, in case of any power outage

Spacious, tastefully decorated apartment with a great view of the beach from a most pleasant balcony. The place is generally well equipped for a family group on a beach vacation. The building is quiet, secure, and just steps away from the beach, pharmacies, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed two restful weeks with our children and would consider renting the apartment again in the future. That said, there were a few things that came up short for a property of this caliber. The internet connection was virtually non-existent despite the owner’s best efforts to tend to the matter. There was no electricity in any of the outlets in the two hall bedrooms. The lights in the hall bathroom would go off and on intermittently, even after the owner had an electrician correct the issue with the hallway lights. While the apartment was generally clean, remotes for the ac and tvs were grimy, as well as the door handles and edges throughout the apartment. In terms of the building, proper elevator maintenance is sorely needed. Upon our arrival only one of the two elevators worked. The remaining one stopped working the morning of our departure, which meant we had to haul our luggage down nine flights of stairs.

Our new sub penthouse is located in the most important beach in the San Juan Metropolitan area, Isla Verde Beach, same beach where the San Juan Resort and Casino, the Intercontinental, the Ritz Carlton and the Water Club hotels are located. The apartment is 30 yards from the beach, in Tartak Street, just off Isla Verde Avenue, at the Beach. It is walking distance to restaurants of all types, from fast foods to casual dining and regular dining. Also very close to shops, casinos and clubs at all the major hotels in the area. A 10 minute drive places you in another important tourist area of Condado, and a 15 minute drive puts you in historic Old San Juan, with its beautiful old colonial structures and plazas. Important attractions in Old San Juan include El Morro and San Cristobal forts, Paseo de la Princesa, La Fortaleza, and Cristo Street. Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde beach are a must if you come to Puerto RIco. In addition, longer day trips include, El Yunque rain forest, (45 minute ride east), Luquillo Beach with a stop in the typical food stands, (50 minutes east), and the Camuy Caverns, about one hour drive west. I recommend a car, even though it is not absolutely necessary if you plan to stay mainly in Isla Verde. The apartment has an assigned parking, with beeper access.
