First time trying out Spa my Blend by Clarins. Located in downtown Toronto inside the gorgeous Ritz Carlton, on the 5th floor. As you exit the elevators, you are intrigued by the pool onto your left and spa reception onto your right. I’m quite fond of any type of spa, (cozy or spacious) either way , it really depends on the atmosphere and employees I encounter. I believe I was greeted by Erica (might be wrong). She was so pleasant and made us feel welcome by using our surnames, which I find it important. We were than taken in by a lovely lady to the change room area.

This place has tons of locker area space, a private change room, a vanity table (which included the 9gag most important essentials, hair spray, hair gel, body lotion, blow dryer, combs , brushes , straightener and hair curler ). There is a separate electricity deregulation area for bathroom stalls. Another area for Hot Tub (very powerful jets, love love love ) plus 3-4 spacious showers and a sauna and steam room.

Co-ed area is great, it has the Clarins products you may try out. My friend and I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage. My RMT was AMAZING. His name is Duane. He has the best hands anyone can ask for. Those knots I had in my neck , shoulders and lower back was released with much tension after those super-soft magical hands worked on it. It was like kneading bread on my back and just smoothing it out. (can I be more descriptive) Seriously, one of the best RMT I had ever experienced so far. The only thing you need to bring is yourself and a swimsuit . Then you are basically much gas ks set to be indulged in this place for several hours. More Show less

I visited the spa with my mother in late February 2015. It’s located in the Ritz Carlton at Toronto. I gather Clarins provides the spa design and products, while the Ritz provides its staff. I booked the appointment by telephone electricity problem in up, then reconfirmed the date and times by telephone a few days beforehand. The appointment was in the afternoon; I dropped by the spa in the morning to again confirm the times. Throughout, I simply mentioned that I wanted a manicure, and my mother wanted a lines-lifting facial. I was therefore surprised when, out of the blue, the receptionist wished my mother a happy birthday. Had a birthday been involved, I would have mentioned it – but did not. That was a bit bizarre. We received a pleasant tour of the facilities, before being invited to relax on one of many couches in a relaxation room. We were invited to partake of the relaxation room’s refreshments – consisting of dried dates, apricots, cranberries, pieces of dark chocolate with fruit/nuts, melon-infused water and, (I think), some teas. The room was beautiful and reasonably well lit – though perhaps not well enough for any kind of lengthy reading electricity quiz and answers (if you want to read while relaxing). We then waited for the people providing the manicure and facial and were escorted to our appointments (in separate rooms). I was very unimpressed that, having made, confirmed, and reconfirmed the appointment for 1:30, the manicurist finally arrived at 1:45. Yes, she apologized, but there was only one other person in the manicure/pedicure room. If the spa is that busy, it should not pack its appointments that closely together, or should hire extra staff. I was not impressed that after I asked for a rounded manicure, my nails were cut and filed flat static electricity in the body. I did not appreciate feeling pressured to have a hot-wax treatment, allegedly to provide my cuticles with long-lasting protection, when it was not explained that this 5-minute treatment added $45 to the bill. (Two days after the treatment my cuticles [unfortunately] looked pretty much the way they had looked before the hot-wax treatment. Frankly, vaseline does a better job of ‘fixing’ my dry cuticles, than hot wax.) I did appreciate receiving a protective undercoat for my nails, before the polish was applied. While this was my very first manicure – so, clearly, I have electricity song billy elliot no comparative experience with which to evaluate the quality of the actual polish application – I was surprised that I was invited to leave and pay the bill while my nails were still wet. I assume there are no devices available to dry nails so that they do not immediately become scuffed? Having to go through my purse to pay the bill while my nails were wet did nothing to improve the look of the final result. My mother thought the facial was very thorough. At the end of the facial, though, she asked where she could reapply her makeup: the service provider told her that she looked so young that she did not need it. My mother thought this was phony, not flattery – she’s in her late 80s with all the lines that go with that age. Why not simply guide her to a well-lit room where she could apply her makeup before going back out into the Ritz Carlton hotel? Was this experience worth almost four hundred dollars? Not for me, and not for my mother.

Facilities: top notch. Great steam and sauna. Decent hot tub. Nice pool with marble everywhere. Nice chill out rooms. Couples massage gaz 67 for sale room rocks. The only spa I’ve seen in Toronto with grander style is the four seasons. The nail bar area is very cozy and relaxing. Service: was great. As most of our ritz service experiences have been. But we had exceptionally warm and fun people for both the nails and the massages. They really made it that extra special experience with their attitude, humour and caring touch. We had a champagne manicure with hot stone arm electricity inside human body massage followed by walking on a cloud massage with additional 30 min massage after and then use of the facilities. Nail bar: From the moment we stepped in to the nail bar we felt comfortable and at home. The two ladies doing our nails were very sweet and actually quite funny once we all got going. And they did a wonderful job on the hands. I enjoyed the hot stones and wax bags on our hands. Not to mention their is something nice about sipping champagne while you do this. While I am no expert in this department I thought the manicure was great. And apparently my girlfriend (who must be qualified gas natural inc considering how much time she spends in these places) thought it was top notch as well. Massage: We enter our couples room. And it is very regal with high ceilings and a very comfortable couch/Lounger type thing. Where we soak or feet in steaming water while they give us the rap about what they are going to do. They were both very sweet and were attentive as they provided our massage. They put on a great playlist that we selected and all in all it was a great experience. The massage was quite good. Nothing mind blowing. But definitely a quality massage. Facilities: we hit the hot tub, sauna, steam, etc afterwards. And the sauna was great. It actually got hot for an electric sauna. And they had a bucket of water for the rocks (rare). The electrical supply company near me steam was great. Had a nob to turn up the steam. And I found it actually got a good amount of steam and got hot. Which is rare for steams in most places. Hot tub was a nice small two person thing. But was comfy to lie back in. The while shower and bathroom in general was very nice and all good. Loved these facilities. Overall this is one if not my favourite spas so far in this city. Good facilities. Great people and great service.
