Turks and caicos island, grace bay beach, b… – vrbo nyc electricity consumption

What a great week my wife and I had! Although it took some time to get through customs, we quickly picked up our car at Grace Bay car rentals and arrived at the beautiful villa about 20 minutes later. We were met by Emanuel, the nicest guy, who gave us a tour of the villa. The villa was immaculate and looked exactly like the posted pictures. The weather was a little cool and windy our first few days and the pool was a touch cool as well. Even when it warmed up and the breeze subsided we never needed the air conditioning and only used the fans. Sitting out back for breakfast or under the stars was perfect and peaceful. Each bedroom was identical with a very comfortable king bed. The kitchen had all the essentials. Every morning we walked to Pelican Beach about 10 minutes away. After breakfast, back at the villa, we drove back to the beach with chairs and an umbrella and spent hours literally by ourselves on a gorgeous secluded beach with unbelievably turquoise blue water. Dinners included nearby restaurants like The Landing, Coco Bistro and its fancy food truck Cocovan, as well as Magnolia in Turtle Cove. Our only criticism (probably too strong a word) is that the villa is right on a main road and due to a fair amount of construction going on in the area, it was a little noisy on weekday mornings. At the end of our week, our flight was cancelled due to weather. Emanuel come to our rescue and rented us his condo at the Turtle Cove Yacht Club which was great. Another day in paradise! Would love to return to Turks and Caicos and wouldn’t hesitate to rent this lovely villa again.

Caicos Dream is all that its name implies. We rented this beautiful property during our stay in December 2017. The house is in a very nice neighborhood, is easy to get to and has all the amenities of home. Caicos Dream is a few miles from town. The two main roads that we learned were most important for getting to places, (Governor’s Road and Leeward Highway), were easily accessible from the house. Coco Bistro and Cocovan, our new favorite restaurants were just a short drive away. In addition, it is close to the white sands of Pelican Beach. Caicos Dream is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and is very clean and well-kept both inside and out. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds, spacious double closets and a vanity with a lot of storage. In addition, each bedroom has a TV,

(we never used them) and a sliding door opening to the tranquil backyard; I spent my mornings drinking coffee and reading in this peaceful setting. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils and assorted items that one needs to make most any meal. There is a stove, microwave, large refrigerator and a washer/dryer combo. Having a washer and dryer in the home, made life easy when it came to washing beach towels and swimsuits. The furniture is modern and stylish, and the hide-a-bed is like none that I have seen and was extremely comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked without a hitch too; very important when traveling with teenagers.

After booking the property, Lynn, the home owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival in TCI. Once we were there, Thashena, the property manager was very helpful. She even had me get the WhatsApp on my phone, so I could contact her if I had any questions. When I did have questions, she was quick to respond. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Caicos Dream to anyone planning to vacation in Providenciales.

On a personal note, this was our first trip to the island of Providenciales and we were not disappointed. The weather was beautiful, the beaches were amazing and the people we met were friendly. By the time we left our son was talking about his desire to move to the island. We hope to return some day but until then, we will forever hold fond memories of celebrating Christmas 2017 at Caicos Dream in Providenciales with our teenage son, my sister and her family.

This property was as advertised and was very comfortable and safe. We visited during the March Madness, so why we would never waste the day watching TV, is was nice to know that after dinner in the evening we could watch any game we wanted as all the stations involved were accessible. It’s location next to the main road in the Leeward area did have traffic but this is T&C traffic, not big city traffic, so it wasn’t a big issue. As for the generator noise – it wasn’t noticeable during the day and in the evening we used the AC so we kept the windows and doors closed (to conserve energy) so the noise again wasn’t noticeable. The 5 minute walk to a very private section of Grace Beach (which is as spectacular as they say it is) was easy and the house had all of the toys to use (beach towels, chairs, etc.). Grilled lobster and salmon out on patio along with enjoying breakfast and lunch at the house which helped keep expenses down since eating out in T&C is not inexpensive. Really enjoyed lounging by the pool in the morning and then heading to the beach in the afternoon. Also got a dive in (which is only 5 minutes away using the Big Blue which I would also highly recommend). Lynn was fantastic to work with and very quick to respond to all of our questions. Would definitely stay st this property again. Really great time!
