Two bedroom, fully furnished beach front co… – homeaway electricity 2pm lyrics

#

This is a beautiful, two-bedroom cottage on a sandy stretch of Lake Huron beach. You have a full view of Lake Huron (east facing) from the living room and the kitchen/dining room. You can watch the sun rise above the Lake while sipping your morning brew from either the kitchen or living room.

The cottage comes fully furnished with linens, towels, pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, and other kitchen supplies. Each bedroom has a closet and full dresser available for you to unpack and make yourself comfortable. Beds are wrapped with bedbug covers and are on anti-bedbug stilts, and are inspected frequently, so rest easy!

With one queen size bed, one full size bed, and one single size sofa sleeper, this cottage can fit up to 5 people. Due to the single bathroom, however, we recommend limiting this to the equivalent of four adults; but the many sleeping locations offers great flexibility for children!

Please be aware of the maximum occupancy of 6 people. This applies to both the cottage itself, and the use of the property. Renters may not host large gatherings or parties exceeding the 6 person limit. We’ve had problems in the past with this, and the other owners are (rightfully) not appreciative of this. Thanks for your understanding!

Beach is great for sunning and not too deep for small children, several sand bars make it fun for bigger kids as it creates waves for them to "surf" on (bring some of those styrofoam kids surfboards!) and you can keep your eyes on the beach right from the deck or living room. Love listening to the sounds of the water, our daughter was amazed at seeing the moon rise over Lake Huron and the stars on a clear night are insane! I found out that there are only a few units for rent here, the rest are privately owned, so we really had the whole place to ourselves. Cabin was neat, clean and had a little bit of everything you need, beds were a bit too firm for our taste but otherwise everything was great. Plenty of blankets, fans in each room, pots, pans, glasses, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, all stocked with the basic kitchen essentials. You may need to bring more pillows if you like to have more than 1 or 2 for each person. The gas grill has seen better days so we never used it. There a quite a few dvd’s for all ages and a few games in the footstool. Wifi worked great, cable tv, Netflix give you options for a rainy day, but no tv’s in bedrooms. There really aren’t any good restaurants in Oscoda, G’s pizza was the only place that was "o.k." (my 9 year old thought they had the best chicken strips she ever had) I read reviews for every restaurant in town and thought I had the good places for dinner figured out but all the good reviews must have been the owners friends/relatives because every place we went was a disappointment. You may be better off heading south to Tawas to find something decent for dinner. Conoe rental places, fast food, Kmart, couple small grocery store are all right down the street for anything you need. For sun and fun and all the sandy beach you want to yourself, this is a great place to just chill with the family!
