When we arrived to the house at about 6PM on Sat 12/23 we all wanted to just relax from traveling all day in the hot tub and we found the hot tub was cold and a quick scan of the area did not reveal any quick way to resolve the issue. The next morning I went out looking for the pool heater and located it and it was not powered up, following the conduit from the heater to the breaker panels I found that the breaker was shut off, I turned it on and set the desired temp. The initial walk through with property management later that day i brought this up and the understanding that it would take 2-3 days for the pool and hot tub to warm up to a usable temp. On the 25th the temp was still the same and waited to see if things would change by the morning of the 26th and they had not so a call was placed to the property management and a Pool contractor was sent to check it out. I was told that the entire system had to be reprogrammed again for it to start working again and later that day I could tell things were beginning to warm up and by the 27th they were usable so 3 1/2 days without the pool or hot tub out of the 6 we were staying there. On the walk through the day before we were leaving I brought up the entire Pool fiasco again and was told I could have called him at any time, he completely ignored the fact that the Breaker should have been turned on in the first place and the property management should have checked on the property including if the pool was usable etc. before we even arrived and after finding the breaker was off it takes some time to warm all the water.

Thank you for your stay and your comments. In regards to the pool and the heating system, the property manager asked the renter upon check-in if they needed any help. They said that all was good and that he turned on the heater for the pool. The property manager checked that and the pool heater was indeed running. The spa had preset temperatures of going up to 104 degrees and the pool going up to 85 degrees. There is also a simple remote control for turning on the pool pump and switching for heating the spa to pool and vice versa. This is was all working fine until we had a call from the renter 2 days later informing us that the pool heater does not work, the pool does not get warm. The pool company was called that same day and found the system had no programs and no set temperatures anymore…….Pool company rearranged the settings in the program and got it back running. In addition , the welcome book has written instructions of how to heat the pool and jacuzzi. The heating system is working fine as well as the pool equipment.
