The Vineyard Vacation House is a mix of rustic, mid-century modern and contemporary. Professionally designed by Fortini Interiors in San Luis Obispo, the high quality materials used in decorating the home exude a natural and simple, yet elegant feel. The house is 3100 square feet, with four bedrooms and three baths and can sleep up to twelve guests.

7.5” wide planks of sawn European white oak span nearly the entire home. The baseboards, window trim, exposed beams and custom interior doors were fabricated from reclaimed 30-year-old pasture fencing sourced from an old horse ranch. Upholstery materials and area rugs are made of natural fabrics such as sisal, linen and mohair.

This is an amazing property! Beautifully decorated, nice linens and bedding, Heath dishes, beautiful thoughtful landscaping etc. Lots of nice spots to sit outdoors and take in the views. Our main reason for 3 stars was just the fact the configuration was not quite comfortable for 12 adults. We were 4 families, and 2 of the four have 2 grown kids each! Basically 4 of the beds (incl. 2 pullouts) are squished in one tight wing of the house with one bathroom in that area. The other 2 rooms had more space/ privacy and their own bathrooms.

(we basically had to go buy air mattresses and bedding for our kids or they would have been on the couches in the main room) Kind of a bummer and added to the already pricey cost! It felt a bit expensive for that reason. Also the kitchen could have been better equipped for cooking for a large group.

All that said we had a fun time gathered for Thanksgiving holiday… wine tasting and corn hole right outside were fun too! You should know the winery tasting room is basically in the front yard and people are there hanging out! It was not a problem just should know! 🙂

The Biddle Ranch Vineyard House is located on our estate chardonnay vineyard in the heart of San Luis Obispo wine country.
