Warlords of draenor legendary ring guide – wowhead news gas 101

The legendary quest line in WOD is similar to that of MOP in that you will be given an ever increasingly powerful item over time – patch to patch, tier to tier, you will progress though upgrading your ring towards making it legendary. This guide will walk you through the currently available steps to obtaining Khadgar’s legendary ring.

Garona Halforcen is a legendary follower who comes with two abilities suitable for an Assassination Rogue, three traits including the unique Master Assassin, and a starting ilvl of 630. She benefits from Ally of Argus for the Alliance and Child of Draenor for the Horde.

• When you build your Garrison and hit 98, you will see Khadgar’s Servant wandering around giving your Garrison denizens tours. He will have an orange ! over his head and will offer you your first quest for your Legendary ring, Call of the Archmage.

This quest requires you to travel to Talador to see Archmage Khadgar in his tower in Zangarra. If you had quested through the zone while leveling, you can fly directly there on flight path, otherwise you can simply travel there through the zone.

• After speaking to Archmage Khadgar here, he will offer you Spires of the Betrayer which requires you to go to Skyreach to retrieve a quest item: Pure Solium Band. This quest can be completed on Normal or Heroic but it can not be completed on Challenge Mode. The quest item drops from the last boss of the instance, High Sage Viryx. This quest can be shared. Be sure to loot the item off the body of the boss before you leave the zone! Learn how to complete this instance with our Skyreach Dungeon Strategy Guide.

• Return to Khadgar in Zangarra. Hand in the quest and accept the next quest from him, Khadgar’s Task. Speak to Khadgar, and receive your ring. Your reward will be based on the loot spec you have selected when you hand in the quest. The rings are epic and are ilvl 640. You can buy extra rings for your other specs from Zooti Fizzlefury for , located just outside the Archmage’s tower.

• After receiving your initial ring, Khadgar will then offer you four quests: three are completed in Heroic Dungeons and one is to collect 4968 Apexis Crystals. The quests in Heroic Dungeons only require level 98 but you can only complete Heroic Dungeons at level 100 and they have an ilvl 610 requirement. Those four quests are:

• Draenor’s Secret Power: Apexis Crystal can be acquired easily when you are level 100 from a daily quest table at your Level 2 or 3 Town Hall. You can get Apexis Crystal from solo dailies and 0 Apexis Crystal from group dailies. You can also get smaller amounts from grinding level 100 mobs, completing Garrison Invasions, and Work Orders. Learn more about Apexis Crystals with our guide.

• After handing those in, Khadgar gives you Tackling Teron’gor which requires you to kill Teron’gor in Auchindoun and loot Corrupted Blood of Teron’gor. This quest can only be completed on Heroic mode. Again, don’t forget to loot the item off his body.

• Khadgar has now now figured out that Kairoz is the one who helped Garrosh time travel back to Draenor and tasks us to go to Nagrand to go find this dragon. Complete Fugitive Dragon and then actually find Kairoz following the clues indicated in The Dragon’s Tale and then kill him ( Tarnished Bronze ) and earn the achievement Chapter I: Call of the Archmage. Tarnished Bronze is a tricky quest and the quest page has many useful comments strategizing on how to complete it.

• After killing the dragon, return to Khadgar and hand in Power Unleashed so he can upgrade your ring from 640 ilvl to a 680 ilvl version. Once you have completed this questline, you can buy ilvl 680 rings for other specs from Zooti Fizzlefury for each.
