Stayed for 8 days in October/November 2017. My wife, teenage son and I had travelled over from Ireland. We have stayed in Fort Lauderdale and the Keys in the past but this was our first visit to Naples. The house is in a super location; it’s close to the beach (5 minutes cycle to the beach on the bikes the owners provide), within easy striking distance of shops and a host of restaurants and yet is still in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

It’s is right on the waterfront on the canal/inlet with a lovely pool area looking out over the water. This is an ideal spot to sit and relax at any time of the day; it’s south facing so catches the sun from sunrise right through to sunset. You can chill by the pool or sit and watch the fish jumping in the water. Very quiet and perfect for the relaxation that we were looking for. The pool is a decent size (about 14m or 42ft long) with good depth and was super for cooling down in after time spent lying in the sun.

The house itself is very comfortable and well equipped. The owner, Antoinette, was very easy to deal with and very helpful right through from booking to checkout and her property agent on the ground, John, was similarly helpful. The bedrooms were all nicely finished and the open plan living room/kitchen was spacious. The huge tv in the living room was well suited to watching games and movies.

The house is just a few minutes from Vanderbilt beach and the Ritz Carlton. Definitely go down to the beach at least once to catch the sunset; spectacular. Also, head down to the pier at Naples to see dolphins swimming around. The water at the beach in Naples is really clear and the sand a beautiful white; a great place to swim.
