We love it here – review of electric cinema, birmingham, england – tripadvisor gas konigsforst

##############

The electric cinema is quite small with only two screens, it is also quite old and rough around the edges but we love going to see films here. Some of the seats are old gas after eating fruit and rickety, the decor is a little scruffy and the toilets are not exactly great but it has it’s own charm. We have been dozens of times and the good thing about it is that you only ever get movie lovers go here who really want to watch the films. We had been sick of going to ‘Odeon’, ‘Apollo’ or ‘Showcase’ cinemas and have idiots in there kicking the back of your seats, talking loudly through the film or messing about chucking popcorn around, luckily we have never encountered that once at the electric. My advice would be to get a sofa, they are about £12 per person but it is worth the extra money to get a big comfy leather sofa that you can just sink into, it almost feels like being at home. They electricity and magnetism review also serve alcohol here too, a nice selection of beers and award winning ales, you can get bottles of red and white wine to take into the movie too, all of the sofas have tables in front of them to put drinks on. If you don’t drink alcohol you 10 ethanol gas problems can have tea, coffee, hot chocolate, they sell snacks, bowls of peanuts, tortilla chips, they also sell a selection of homemade… The electric cinema is quite small with only two screens, it is also quite old and rough around the edges but we love going to see films here. If you have a sofa and want a drink during the film they will bring drinks into you so you won’t miss any of the film, you just put a number into your mobile phone and text what drinks you like and they bring them to you. We usually decide what we will want before the film and type it in and then just press send when we want them half way through to save messing about and texting during the film. They have a lot of the new mainstream films on here, they also show a lot of arthouse 9gag tv films and once in a while screen some cult classics, films like ‘The shining’, ‘The lost boys’ and ‘Terminator’ spring to mind from quite recently gas variables pogil packet answers. My only complaint is that once we went with a friend to watch a film and had the sofa for 3 people and the view is obscured by the sofa in front of you, bearing in mind that I am 6” 3” tall I am sure shorter people would struggle to see even more. Overall I would definitely recommend people to come here and watch a film, it has a great atmosphere and we have good memories of having seen some great films here over the years. More Show less
