This was the best private tour I have electricity office ever taken! If you’re looking for a tour operator that is honest, safe, comfortable, informative, exciting, and socially conscious, look no further! This is a family owned and operated business who employ people from the Sahara region. The money you spend with this company has a direct positive impact on the communities you are visiting. They are a group of well trained, honest, hardworking people, promoting responsible tourism in Morocco, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! My friend and I booked the 3 day 2 night Fes to Marrakech Dessert tour, and it was absolutely the highlight of our time in Morocco. We reached it to several companies, and e gaskell Morocco countryside tours was the first To respond. From start to finish, every interaction was professional, courteous, and enjoyable! We had Said as our guide and Hamid as our driver, and they made this a once in a lifetime opportunity. Said is a phenomenal guide, his knowledge astounds me, and he was able to answer any and every question we threw at him. At all times he was considerate and ensured we were always comfortable. Hamid was a very safe driver, especially toward the end of our journey when it was raining heavily in the high electricity outage in fort worth Atlas Mountains, at which point I was very happy that he was extra cautious in the poor road conditions. At all points we felt very taken care of. Every restaurant we visited throughout the tour was very good (Kasbah Asmaa was exceptional!) and we were very well fed! We chose the upgraded accommodation for both nights and it was well worth it both nights. Our luxury tent in the Sahara was very comfortable, with plenty of blankets to stay warm (dress warmly! Even we Canadians were cold as we watched the sunrise!) and the electricity and ensuite bathroom gas and water socialism were just above and beyond! Staying overnight in the Sahara was truly amazing, it is an absolute must for any trip to Morocco! We stayed at Hotel Xaluca in Dades Valley for the second night, and it was amazing! The view is incredible, especially from their pool area, and the rooms were comfortable and a style unlike any other! The dinner buffet was massive, so many options, and a great way to experience Moroccan cuisine! Merzouga and the Dunes were incredible! Riding a camel into the Sahara was an absolute blast! The scenery is amazing, and our guide was very friendly and made sure electricity estimated bills we were comfortable, and that we had some great souvenir photos too! The sunset was absolutely incredible! Riding into our camp under the moonlight was totally surreal. We had a great dinner, followed by a bonfire and a drum performance (with audience participation highly encouraged!) Watching the sunrise over the dunes was truly serene! We really enjoyed the stop at the local market in Rissani. Our timing didn’t work to see one of the big market days where everyone comes to sell their livestock and crops speedy q gas station, but it was fun getting to see everyday life and talk to some of the vendors. At no point in the trip we’re we taken to a commission shop, which I truly appreciated. We did choose to stop at a non-commission shop that sold fossils, rocks and minerals, which I highly recommend! There was no pressure to buy and they had some really cool stuff. Its great if you want a unique souvenir too! Extra bonus points for the unexpected waterfall tour in the high Atlas Mountains! The heavy rains made for some spectacular views on the way home! (Please don’t expect waterfalls on your tour!! This was total luck of the gas station near me draw! This is still the desert haha!!)
